Hello,
I have just come back from using LiveWorship and it crashed just before the service was about to start. This happened as I was switching back iTunes to LiveWorship. This is not the first time. It appears to happen the majority of the time when you click directly on the program screens to switch. But it doesn't happen so much if you switch using the dock icons.
Is this a known problem? Everything is up to date on the mac as I regularly use version tracker.
Thanks Andrew... |

We have not had reports of this and are not seeing the same behavior on any of our internal testing machines or any of the team's personal machines. I have been testing this and can not recreate the problem. Have you been able to repeat this on any other Macs or is this only happening on one computer?
Can you email us (support@liveworship.com) this information:
-any text that may be displayed from error messages
-version of LiveWorship/found in the About box
-specifications about your computer
-processor speed
-amount of memory installed
-model of Macintosh
-version of QuickTime installed
-verison of OS X installed
-any other information that you believe may help us solve your problem
-
-phone number and email address where you can be contacted
Thanks!

Hello I wrote the earlier post detailing the stability problems on the Mac. I think I have traced the problem, it appears that it may have been caused by a VLC player plugging for the browsers that was causing the issue.
The standalone plug-in does not appear to affect things but the two together slowed video playback as well as affecting the stability of LiveWorship. This problem was compounded when the latest VLC plug-gin effectively shut down the capabilities of Quicktime within a browser.
Apparently the latest release of quicktime 7.1 has solved this issue but I have decided not to install the VLC plug-gin again just incase. I accept that I may be mistaken and this was not the issue, I have however decided to treat LiveWorship to a fresh install on the Powerbook and there is not a hint of the instability.
Thank you for your previous response, I thought I should set the record straight that the issue appears not to have been with LiveWorship itself but rather a third party piece of software affecting the stability of quicktime which then obviously affected LiveWorship.
Thanks Andrew... |
