Just wondering if there could be some sort of interface in the "Editor Window" of LW that you segregate "Verse", "Chorus", "Bridge", "Tag", "Ending", "Verse 1", "Bridge 2" etc.
Easy Worship has something like this...It makes for easier editing when you want to change how many times you want to sing the chorus or what kind of an ending your going to add to a song. I know you can just do this in the "Editor Window" but nothing seperates these. I know that Song Select segregates this in "Easy Worship" when you import a new Song. I'm wondering if this is something you are considering when you get the "import" feature through song select on an up and coming update??? _________________ in Christ

We took the quick route in setting up a new song.....you can add a new song and format it in seconds. We felt by adding specific labels would slow down the formating process and would not allow for quick last minute song formating for the Worship Leader who likes to suprise you with a last minute song addition to the set.....and it is new....and you have never heard it before....lol....
We felt we did not need the labels because you have a preview of every slide in the song right in front of you in our interface......
I am not saying that it will never happen....but we sort of like how it works now.... |

| Our 1.2 Public Beta added some new import features.....just drop a powerpoint song file into the presentation panel and it strips the backgrounds and text out and rebuilds it in LiveWorship....saves lots of time.....and we also added a CCLI Song Select file import feature by dragging and dropping the file into the presentation panel or click File-Import-CCLI song.... |

I understand being able to quickly add songs and not worry about labels, but when the worship leader gives the person a roadmap of the song, it's nice to be able to tell what is really the verse, chorus, bridge, etc.
at least as an option.
also, I like the way you can set margins for the sides, but I see no quick way to do that for the top and bottom. that is really what matters to most people since some churches have less room to project on the screen and can only use the top third of the screen or whatever the case may be. It'd be nice if we could set that the same way as the side margins. |

| Thanks for the suggestions. I know we have many who have asked for titles for slides that might be visible all the time in the Presentation Panel (unlike the tooltip pop ups). This will probably be something that we put on our list for the next re-write of the app, not likely to be in a minor update. Same thing with the top/bottom margin control. At the present time, you can justify the text to the top or bottom of the slide, but you'll need to insert blank lines to shift the text away from the edge. |

I'm one of those people (Mac user) who have requested this. Every week, and I mean every week, my operators beg to have titles that they can define. The pop-ups are just too slow to be useful. If the text in the popups were displayed below each frame that would solve it. I had hoped this did not require a major rewrite, but if that's the way it is, we will have to continue putting the verse # on each slide. I don't like the congregation seing this, but it seems to be the only way for the operators to keep the stress level down.
Thanks for your continued work on this,

| Thanks for the input, we certainly know this is an issue for users and it often comes up when we are discussing changes to the Presentation Panel. |

| I am loving the demo, but this is the one feature that is keeping me from switching right now. We currently use ProPresenter and that has become a very relied on tool. |
