|
|
I have a license for LiveWorship and have used fairly frequently last year. I'm getting ready to use it again for a national convention and it no longer works.
My Mac OS (PPC) has been updated to 10.5.3 so I went through the instructions for updating to 10.3.65. Everything appeared to update properly.
There is only a black screen on the second monitor. When removing the second monitor and using the floating screen it is also just black.
There are no slides to be viewed in the presentation panel - it's blank (white).
I archived the LiveWorship folder and reinstalled it from a new download and the same symptoms are there.
Any suggestions on how to get this up and running again? |

| I am running on latest version of both and no probs. May need to get your database checked by Liveworship. |

The new install, which did not include my database, still did not work.

We are not seeing issues here with either PowerPC or Intel Macs upgrading to 10.5.3. It may be faster/easier for you to communicate directly with support...if you don't reach us by phone, leave a call back number or email your contact information (including phone #) to support@liveworship.com
Try pulling the Window menu in LiveWorship to Zoom...if nothing changes, try pulling the Window menu in LiveWorship to Reset Window. If nothing changes, quit LiveWorship and try removing the preferences folder (which will force LiveWorship to rebuild the preferences) from this location and then restarting LiveWorship:
Users/<user name>/Library/Preferences/LiveWorship Settings |

OK, bingo - trashing the preferences worked. It looks like I have a new install of the LiveWorship program running.
What do you recommend that I do to bring up my previous media and database? I archived the earlier version by renaming the folder to OLDLiveWorship and compressing it to a .zip file |

OK, I got all my stuff back. I unarchived my updated LiveWorship folder and when I launched that everything was in it.
So essentially all I really needed to do was trash the preferences folder as suggested above. |
