I have the latest version of LiveWorship running on a Macintosh PowerBook (PPC). I will be renting iMacs (Intel) to do a show in another part of the country and I was intending to install LiveWorship on the rented machines and then wipe the drive when the show is over. I just thought of a couple of issues that might crop up.
First of all there is the license issue. Can I use my license on the rental machine to run this show?
Second, will my database and media files transfer and properly on the Intel machine?
What other things should I be aware of?
Thanks |

Your license can be used on a rental computer as long as you are abiding by the license agreements (projecting from one computer at a time per license).
We do not recommend moving an entire database from a PPC Mac to an Intel Mac or vice-versa. Since you are not planning to use LiveWorship long term on the rented computers, you should not have an issue as long as you do NOT import any Bibles after the transfer (this is when we have been seeing corruption occur) and you are intending to wipe those machines when the show is over. That would be the only issue we could foresee that you may encounter. |
