Another Bug question

One of our av techs reformated the Doxology that comes in the song library.

She saved as and created a new version in the database.

She then broke the slide into multiple slides (with two lines per slide).

She then changed the font size (set at 40) to 72. The size of the fonts did change on the screen, but the button continued to read 40.

She applied the change to the whole group. All the fonts changed sized. The button continued to read 40.

She highlighted the text. It continues to read 40.

She changes it to 72 again. (nothing happens - it is already 72).

As soon as she clicks of the hightligted text the button hows 40 again. Rehighliging the text - still shows 40.

She would like to know if this is a bug or if something else is at work.

The font/style tools do not change or reflect the current style at the cursor position. This is a known issue, not necessarily a bug, but a factor in the design of the edit canvas.

I'll pass your answer on to the rest of the team.

The behavior was different than any of our tech team anticipated. This helps adjust their expectations, though I suspect they'd prefer it to reflect the actual (current) styles.
