I am trying to have multiple videos to loop through during an informal time for our Youth. I have a couple of funny videos and a video of a recent outing that I want to loop through.

I am able to get one of the videos to loop through by putting the text over it as suggested in the manual. When I have 2 slides with 2 different videos, one starts and quits after a couple of seconds, then the second one does the same. I have put a third slide with a third video and the 3 then rotate starting and stopping.

I am currently in my 30 day trial on a iMAC, 2GHz, Intel Core 2 Duo, 1GB RAM.

If there is soemthing I missed in the manual point me in the right direction.

Thanks

From your description, it sounds like you are activating the automated looping of a group (by either clicking on the Loop button in the toolbar or right-clicking on a slide group and selecting "play/loop group"). The automated play advances to the next slide based on the time set in the "slide delay" attribute associated with each slide. So even if you have a two minute video, if the "slide delay" is set to 3 seconds...the show will autmatically advance to the next slide at the end of 3 seconds. You will probably need to select each slide for editing and change the value of the "slide delay" located just below the preview panel. You may need to right-click on the videos in the Finder and select "Get info..." to find out the length of the video...enter that time (in seconds) into the "slide delay".

Alan,

Thanks for the reply. I just now found it. I thought I had setup the email notification, but perhaps taht doesn't work or I didn't set it up properly.

You described my situation correctly. I have stumbled on the delay myself as was going to try it. The MAC I was playing with has now been installed in the church so it is not as readily available to me as before.

We have had a good month with the demo of your product. We are interested in any training that might be available (online or books). We would probably have a couple of people that we could formally train which in turn would train the rest of the volunteer staff.

Thanks and have a great week!
